Family & Couple’s Services

Family Therapy

Work through family challenges with a therapist who can gently guide the conversation, help shift unhelpful patterns, and help support healthy ways of communicating.

Family therapy can include, partner, children, step children, in-laws, siblings. Family relationships can be complicated—communication breakdowns, unresolved conflict, and life transitions can create stress and distance within the family unit.

Family therapy provides a safe, structured space to explore these challenges, improve communication, and strengthen your connection as a family. Support with parenting by learning how to set loving limits with children to help them learn, while also maintaining a loving connection. Trauma Informed Therapy offers a supportive space to explore unresolved experiences and the ways they may be effecting your life. You will work with a therapist who brings compassion, understanding, and specialized knowledge to help you feel safer, more grounded, and more connected to yourself.

Identifying aspects of your life that you would like to change and/or need support in to create more inner and outer peace in your life. This could be working through painful past or present emotions, working through anxiety, depression, or trauma.

Trauma Informed Therapy

I’m trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which is a psychotherapy treatment designed to alleviate distress associated with traumatic memories.

I also help you establish boundaries with others, express your needs, and help you identify negative beliefs that are holding you back. I help clients with finding healthier ways of dealing with emotions to help gain control over emotional eating habits that can leave you feeling powerless over food.

Grief can be complicated. I can help you navigate the loss of a loved one and learn to co-exist with grief, to honor the loss you've experienced.

If you’re located in Minnesota, I offer the ability to engage in individual therapy via a HIPAA compliant form of video chat (Doxy.Me)

It’s easy and user-friendly, and allows you to have an appointment virtually.

You can use your mobile phone, computer, or tablet to access the telehealth server.

I know it can be a little uncomfortable to think about meeting virtually, however most find it to be very similar and as productive as in-person sessions.
